In this tutorial I'm going to show you a simple way to play your own music in /mplayer instead of using mp3skull or offliberty (Offliberty's links are temporary so you can only enjoy your song for like 30mins, then you have to get the link again). Or whatever .mp3 site you use to get your songs.

First:
If you don't know how does /mplayer works, check out this tutorial.

Steps:
1. We will use youtube to get the song we want, for example I've picked this one

2. We will download the song using offliberty.com, put the youtube song link and press on "OFF", then press on the Yellow button, or Right click on it and press on "Save link as.." as it says.

3. Go to puush.me, download the program and register (Make an account). Once you finish, make sure that this arrow showed up

4. Once you do so, right click on your song and press on "puush" as it shows in this picture

. Or go to your account index and upload your song normally.

5. Once the upload is done (You will get a notification message says that it's done), go to your account by pressing right click on the arrow then "My Account". Just like this picture

. You will find the song that you uploaded, just like this picture

6. In "My Account" you can manage the songs you've uploaded, and you can enjoy them by playing them in CIT. To play them, all you have to do is to click on the song that you've uploaded then copy it's link and play it in /mplayer.
Make sure that the link ends with .mp3, this was the song that we've picked from youtube

Way simple and easy, this way you can enjoy the song whenever you want from /mplayer, instead of being bothered to use offliberty to get a song link each time you're going to listen to it in CIT. I've noticed many players using mp3skull and offliberty which is not so comfortable, usually you don't find the song you want in mp3skull, also every youtube converter gives temporary links which is annoying.

I hope it will help out.

Additional sites that might transfer your youtube video to .mp3 for longer:

damn, why all these steps while you can normally get a youtube song and convert it to mp3 with any site ? then right click the "download" sign and copy the link and I guess it should have .mp3 at the end, I used to do that

there:
Click here to Download (Puu.sh Connection Error) repair utility

Download it, install it, press scan, fix the errors then restart your computer.
Or make a system restore. If you don't know how to make a system restore I can explain it here.

every youtube converter gives temporary links which is annoying.

For example, offliberty, its link is temporary, you can only enjoy the song for 30mins or so. With the way I've stated, you can enjoy the song whenever you want.

I personally use this website > https://www.sonyoutube.com

I just copy the download link and put it in mplayer and works fine. I got a song that's been there since... more than 5 months I guess. Still it works fine.

This way is good and very easy in case you have too many YouTube videos that you want it to be mp3 and in mplayer. Yet, I'm not responsible in case the link (somehow) stopped working and you don't have the name of the song saved (and you do not know it).

So, yea. 'sonyoutube' is good in case you don't really want to waste some time on doing Echoo's tutorial steps. Yet I recommend to follow Echoo's way rather than the 'sonyoutube' way.
