Introduction:
All oldschool gamers know this important part of the criminal side, which was turned into preference and then killed off along with the preferences. Since the preference system no longer exists, why not add this feature again? It fits the roleplay and it's funny.
Suggestion:
To Bring back the pickpocketing feature.
Trivia:
1-A similar feature is present in GTA Online, where you can call lamar to send a thief to rob players with too much money in their hands.
2-To protect yourself against pickpocketing, deposit your money in the bank and keep less than 250k on hand, wear a bag, stay away from criminals or inside a car.
3-For me, this script is precious, some developer had this brilliant idea, took his time and made it. I don't want this thing, that made me laugh so many times when I was a new player, with my friends, to go to waste. Please help me bring it back :D

I can assume that some of the players do really miss pickpocketing, some ppl (the majority actually) was using it to troll around, but ain't gonna lie it was fun up voting this. :tick:

I never saw the reason to complain about this feature when the highest amount players lost was $10k in 1 hour. Most of criminal activities reward on the average more than 400k per hour. Same goes for the teams like civilian.
At least this made players actively play the game.

Honestly CIT was pretty fun when this feature existed, I have nothing to say when it comes in bringing it back again, you either get money or drugs. totally :tick:

It was a very fun way of earning money. If cops have a job called "Traffic Officer" who can simply pickpocket players' money then there's no problem having pickpocketing back. :tick:

To mitigate players farming money on a group of stationary players, there could be a cooldown based on crossing X amount of pickpocketed players in a certain area..

Or maybe add a limitation like you can't pickpocket more than 3 times in 15 mins.

Back to 2013-2014, this is the thing I like the most, and it's really fun to pick pocket others.

Indeed, its something fun that was made exclusive to CIT and due to changes in the preference settings, it got removed almost as by accident.
It led me to many funny conversations and situations when I was a new player, and that is something that made me a permanent player in CIT; I hope we can bring it back.

This was one of the funniest things to do in the criminal side and bringing it back won't harm, as stated above by Brian the max a player can lose from pickpocket is 10k per hour so why not bring this feature back ?

The most basic criminal activity and of course the fun is in pickpocketing. Why don't repeat the history and fun by adding this back.

I've used this feature many times on my friends, and it was really fun, I don't know why it was removed, it wouldn't hurt anyone to add it and the people supports this suggestion. :tick:

Wll I thanks it’s funny to rob your mates while playing ARs, it’s really amazing thing to have it back again, making the players more active inside ARs. I’m totally agree with you. :tick:

As Brian said, certain restriction should be added.
My suggestion is to disable pickpocketing on Safezones or on players who's AFK for 30 minutes or more.
But on the idea itself of bringing it back, My vote is :tick:

Voting Positive, Pickpocketing should definitely be back in the game because it makes CnR more enjoyable and players cant stay AFK on ARs.

I will vote positive for this if there is equipment or vip hats that will protect player from getting pickpocketed like before because some of the players is not really happy that they are getting pickpocketed. I encountered some of that, after I do that to them they are throwing curse words to me and I understand their feelings because I also get pickpocketed and it feels uncomfortable and except throwing some curse word they even troll or hunt you anywhere you go.

- Added back pickpocketing feature for criminals and gangsters. Press X, select a player near you and press 'Pickpocket'. (Brian + Starkid)
Restrictions:
- Max 5 players pickpocketed in an area of 25 meters of radius from where you first started pickpocketing.
- Can't pickpocket players that have less than 24H, that have less than 500k on hand, that are AFK for more than 15 mins, that are in safe zones.
- Can pickpocket same player once every 30 minutes.
