Skin designing basics , How to get skin PNGs.

hey so I made a skin and when I tested it at ped.exe it worked but it dosent appear at game
hope some one can help me out

so first I opened TXD workshop then I went to the san andreas folders > Models > gta3 I chosed my skin id
swmotr5 id:230 I exported the image as png and edited it and imported it back after that I tested the skin
in ped.exe and it worked there but when I go in game and put the skin it showes the default skin

Well, you go to gt3 and open it via TXD workshop, then get the files. Go here and check the skin's model name you want, copy the model name of the skin and paste it at the TXD workshop and add .txd after the model name, now press on it twice and the default skin will appear to you, now import your design and press on 'Save' button. Then open MTA and you're good.
NOTE: You can only do that when MTA is closed, don't do that when MTA is opened.

Listen,
Once u extract the skin files, Make a folder in MTA > Server > Mods > Deathmatch > Resources named skin
1.Make a skin.lua file with this in it -

Replace the 39 by the skin id you want to replace
2. Create a meta.xml with this code in it-

</meta>

Here too replace 39 with skin id you are replacing.
Paste the extracted dff and txd file of skin and rename them to their id like 212.txd , 212.dff.
After that goto map editor and type /start skin and change your skin to the id you want to by /ss id .
This way you can edit side by side while testing the skin instead of restarting game everytime.
