I guess you're working on skin ID 234 which is modded by CIT. If that's the case, check the steps below to test it correctly.

Show content
Retrieve skin models from MTA CIT's files:

- Open the player mods folder inside C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5\mods\deathmatch\resources\CITskinMods\plrmods
- Check with the table above the editable skin files name (our modes have a name like this s<skinID>.dff/.txd, eg: s64.txd s64.dff)
- Export the main texture with TXD workshop and edit it with an image editor

Testing the skins with DFF viewer:

- Download DFF viewer and run it
- Save the edited texture as .tga in the same folder of skin's dff file
- In DFF Viewer press "OPEN" button and import the dff file
- If you've done everything right, you'll see your edited texture on the skin. NOTE: The texture appears as specular inside DFF Viewer but ingame it'll appear correctly!

Well I am a designer and I already designed 234, 11 and 39 the way that I text them I have my own local server and a script that contain the .dff and .txd file and what the script dose is to put that x.dff and x.txd to that ID and that how you test you simply need to put the ingamein the .txd file .

You cannot test skins that are not in GTA SA, because this server consists of GTA, GTA is MTA, if you want to design skins, take png skin that has been fixed right.

I know this is not a discussion board But trust me you wrong you can test any skin as I said it's a script you have to make

C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5\server\mods\deathmatch\resources
all u have to doyou make a folder with the skin files .txd and .dff and the script and this is the proofs that I have tested skins such 234 , 39 and more

Well as a Skin Designer before, I tried too many times to test a modded skin in DFF Viewer but most of the times it fails and only show's plane grey texture.

You can test modded skin via Ingame, try this.

Steps:

1. Open TXD Workshop
2. Click 'Open IMG' > GTA San Andreas > models > gta3
3. Replace the .dff and .txd of the modded skin you want to test. ( Make sure to have the original copy of those default .dff and .txd so it wouldn't be a hassle for you, as the skins will be saved and It could be annoying after doing the test )
4. Then you can now connect to CIT Server.

Hope It works on you.

If you are replacing it don't change the .dff name.

Example:

dff12.dff (Original .dff)
ddddd.dff ( Downloaded modded .dff)

Replace the dff12.dff with the dddddd.dff and change it's name to dff12.dff

Well, its pretty simple mate.

This guy here, made it pretty easy for me: https://cit.gg/index.php?topic=304398.0

So you make 2 files in a folder, each with the names the guy included in his post.

Then you go to your MTA Folder
for me its: D:\Multi Theft Auto\mods\deathmatch\resources\CITskinMods\plrmods (just replace the D with whatever)

Then grab the ID for the skin so for you, get s234.txd and .dff, grab both and put them in the folder which you made for the script the guy included above. Change their names to mod.dff and mod.txd then use TXD Workshop and replace the skin you made with the original one in the TXD file.
(Also make sure to change the skin ID in the client.lua he included)

Next, get in a local server, change the skin to whatever ID which is 234.

Thats it, if anything isn't clear, don't hesitate to PM or just mention me here.

I've found this guide https://cit.gg/index.php?topic=335240.0 in General Guides board which is detailed enough that I think you will definitely find whatever you need right there.
