Online Education
« on: 01 04, 2021, 01:44:02 am »
What do you guys think about our online system education? Me personally have noticed that alot of students are just playing while listening to their professors or teachers. Unlike before when we haven't got this virus, students were more focused on what they are doing in school. Now, students are more likely to play than to listen to their professors and some doesn't even want to join the online classes. Are we gonna get the right education that we deserve? (It is always depend on the student if s/he want to learn). Does being in a house affects the study of some students? or they just don't want to focus and just play?

They already get what they deserve, now if they actually decide to use this opportunity, is on them, it's not within the teacher's power. They could increase penalties for not doing homework to incentivize students to focus on their studies, but that's about it. Online studies is very helpful because you do not waste any time having to meet at a certain place.

But sometimes the other courses which offers hands-on activity that needed can't operate in homes. Which is kind of unfair for the other student. The school tuition is still high because we still paying for the electrical bills of laboratories, gym, and etc. that others aren't using.

If the school offers online courses then it's pretty clear they also do their exams online, so I doubt there will be a question in the exam that requires physical activity.

Online Education seems like a technologic but its not because system fucked up many times in my country and we are not focused lessons.
I think we are not ready for Online Education as the peoples of the world cuz our net connections and our physical network connections are incorrect. So we dont deserve this education.

Yep, but some courses like I said requires something physical like having to dissect something that requires tools and things that needed to complete dissecting processes. Yes, some schools offers videos for it but some students doesn't have the right tools to start. That is why some doesn't deserve the current system and still pays the same tuition fees.

I'm studying Interior Design and the classes of Interior Design/Furniture Construction are the same as in school. The teacher helps us and everything is the same except the number of students working on the design, but it's their fault for not contacting the teacher when she explained everything. In my case there is no difference.

Well in your case, you can study on your house using your PC. Your course requires software that is for house or interior designs. So yeah, you can basically learn and study more freely in your house and it has a small difference. I am actually thinking about the other courses that will be hard without physical activities or laboratories that needs special tools.

Ugh, you actually get more work. Comparing both before and after, at least for myself, I’ve noticed a shitton of work unlike any other year EVER. They see that you’re home all the time, you got nothing much to do, they use that to make you work further. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing because both pros and cons have their solid arguments to outweigh one another.

This is actually true. In fact, professors are giving their students more paper works than normal and it is hard since there is a lot of subjects to do and all professors are giving their assign tasks in a single time/day. I wish those professors will give their students a little bit of consideration and understanding that there is more than 1 subject that those students are taking.

Actually first of all I'm against of all of student which is getting mad without do anything.
For my side during covid it's hard to learn practice stage of the paramedic which is my branch. But in the other side which is technical isn't hard to handle even during online session. I hate only one thing which is about the time of lessons (A few teachers/proffesors are usually passing the limit of time so it become boring when the times more than 40+ min)
